Baroque music by cloistered female composers − from Lombard nuns to composers in south America.
The new CD Musica Inaudita – Latin for "music not yet heard" – reveals the little-known work of cloistered female composers - from Lombard nuns to composers in baroque Mexico – and brings a fresh and illuminating program of baroque motets and South American music. The concert is interpreted exclusively by women performers – singers and instrumentalists on period instruments – according to historical performance practices.

A perfect blend of voices, correct singing techniques (breathing), the ability of dynamic shading in the spectral sound arch that totally fills up the big concert hall and impregnates it with human voices; a detailed study of a really demanding and difficult programme, performed by heart, the self-confidence, deliberation, dedication and hope of a generation to come. What more would you like from these young girls!?
